Sealed Soul story line

A long time ago symbols would appear on random people’s bodies. These symbols were called sealed souls. The people who bore these symbols gained enhanced magical abilities. It was originally thought that these sealed souls were spirits of the deceased who wheedled unimaginable power that had sealed their souls into a host so there souls to never disappear. It is now known today that this is just an urban legend, although it is still a mystery of how the sealed souls are sealed on to ones body.
People tend to fear those who have sealed souls. The ones with sealed souls tend to be discriminated against and usually tend to become criminals as a result. The angelic guild named Sealed Soul has sauté out and recruited those with sealed souls, giving them a home and sending them out on quests to better the world.

Chapter 1: The Angelic Guild
Thriss, an elf with a sealed soul and the power to control insects is walking threw the woods with Shanole , a very well known and well respected officer of the SS who also has a sealed soul who fights with light and dark elements, when Thriss is suddenly separated from Shanole. While searching for Shanole he is attacked by some one not much older than himself named Dray who also has a sealed soul which enhances his abilities to control the earth around himself. When Dray is just about to kill Thriss an elfin girl named Chelsea with a sealed soul and the power to control plants comes to the rescue. Shortly after Thirss and Chelsea meet back up with Shanole when Thriss learns that Chelsea is Shanoles’ pupil.
Shanole and Chelsea show Thriss around the guild of Sealed Soul where he meets its guild leader Everty. After visiting the guild Thriss is sent to a school for wizards that is located in the city of Rough for training. While there he meets a short mage swordsman named Zack and they become friends. While at the school he gets into a fight with a rich snotty ass hole who thinks he is better than every one named Benjamin who’s blinding speed and amazing sword skills made him a fierce rival. The fight was stopped by Shanole and Ben was expelled from the school.
After visiting the school Thriss, Chelsea, and Shanole go out and fafil a few small quests which would include:
.Introducing Thriss to Shanoles’ younger siblings Auron and Amanda. (not really a quest as something on Shanoles’ to do list.)
.fighting a bandit warrior named Genmarue who fights with a giant sword that allowed him to bring back his 5 friends who had died in the form of scimitars. Genmarue has a little bit of an anger issue.
. Going to the ominous city of Darkcoin where any think that touches the night will become an accursed monster. While at Dark coin they had to save people from Darkcoins’ guardian and curse named Veerty. Veerty is the angelic statue that guards Darkcoin from intruders, but also reaps its citizens who are caught roaming the night. She is Everys’ younger accursed sister.
Shortly after completing these few quest, back in the city of Rough Ben seeks out and beets the crap out of Zack. Thriss, Chelsea, and Shanole rush back to save Zack. Ben and Thriss fight each other again. Using his new found abilities Thriss rains victorious, while Ben runs away, now being sought out by Sealed Soul as a criminal.
Thriss and Chelsea are sent out on a quest in the Forest of Channels when they are attacked once again by Dray. Dray, using his own newly found powers traps Chelsea, leaving Thirss to fight all by him self. Although badly bruised, Thriss and Chelsea are able to beet Dray and bring him back to Sealed Soul where he tells them how he was forced by the empire to kill others with sealed souls that where being brought to Sealed Soul and if he didn’t that the empire would destroy his village.

There are 5 guardians of this world: Fire, Water, Light, Dark, and Nature. These guardians have been here since the beginning of time and have an enormous amount of power. They agreed with and encouraged the creation of the angelic guild. They created 3 artifacts of unbelievable power after the birth of the angelic guild. The sword of the heavens was given to the guild leader of the new angelic guild to protect the weak. The staff of the guardians was given to the emperor to stop evil from corrupting the people. The last artifact, the sword of the elements was lost hundreds of years ago in the wars.

Chapter 2: The Plans of the Empire
After making these shocking discoveries Everty decides to release Dray from their custody and forgive him for his past crimes if he joins Shanoles’ party and goes with them to the empire to interrogate the Emperor. Dray decides to join there party but still fears for his village.
Once Shanoles’ party enters the empire they are greeted by Nick, the imperial commander who is also a master engineer. They all meet up with Emperor Kaz and Shanole asks him about the rumors that Dray had told Everty, of coarse he denies it all. While Shanole and the others interrogate Emperor Kaz, Thriss sneaks around to find more information using his ability to control insects and is caught peeping around by Nick. They end up getting into a little fight until Shanole, Dray and Chelsea show up to help and are then captured. Emperor Kaz promises to let them go as long as Sealed Soul stops interrogating the empire. Shanole agrees. Having failed the mission Shanoles’ party accepts there defeat and go on to there next mission.
Shanoles’ party goes to an elfin village way off in the forest to help them with there shadow beast problem. Once they arrive at the village they meet an elf hunter named Tes who is a hero of the village. Tes, Thriss, Shanole, Chelsea, and Dray are able to track down the shadow beast and after a hard battle are able to kill it. After completing the mission Shanoles’ party returns back to Sealed Soul and is attacked by a mysterious assassin who turns out to be Tes. She tells them the story of how she was forced by the empire to kill Shanoles’ party just before dyeing.
After releasing the information of Tes to Everty, she sends them on a quest to figure out why the City of Rough is starting to freeze up. Once the party reaches Rough they end up running into Ren, an angelic officer of Sealed Soul who fights with a spear that summons three ice fairies who had apparently gone rough and confessed how he was hired to help destroy Sealed Soul. He is eventually defeated by Thriss and Dray. After killing Ren they rush back to Everty just to be sent back out on a quest to investigate some mysterious imperial activity in a dessert city.
Once they arrive at the dessert city they catch Nick and his soldiers attacking the city! When Nick seemed to be beaten, a strange shrouded figure that was with the empire ran off and started attacking civilians. Thriss and the others, of course, had to pursue it. They then followed it to the clock tower were the shrouded figure turned out to be a horrifying killing machine named Rish that was created by the empire. All thou it wasn’t easy; Chelsea was able to stop the wicked animation using her plants. After there battle with Rish it seemed like the empire had left the city and the city would be able to pull through. Once the mission was complete Thriss and the others went back to SS to deliver their starteling news as Everty had startling news to deliver as well.
It turns out that the Empire was trying to abbtain the power of the guardians using the staff of the guardians to destroy Sealed Soul and take over the world, and to top that the empires army was on its way to attack SS. Shanoles’ party was then ordered to go with Sealed Souls’ attack force to intercept the approaching army and take out its general. Before leaving, Shanole gives Thriss a rare artifact called the egg of life, which would allow its owner to go to the Gates of Life and Death after they die, giving its owner a chance to come back to life once again.
As soon as Shanoles’ party arrives at the battlefield they waste no time in trying to find the empires general while trying to dodge empyreal soldiers and blood thirsty automations. While dashing through the brawl, Thriss, Chelsea, and Dray are able to find the empyreal general named Rigor Mortis who use to be the child hood friend of Nicks, transformed into an undead killing machine by the empire, he is able to control a shadow dragon. Although it seemed nearly impossible Shanole was able to take down Rigor Mortis. After his defeat Rigor curses the empire just before self-destructing, killing Thriss in the process. With this explosion the elemental guardian’s cries were heard through out the world.

The gates of Life and Death are a very strange place. Only those who have died can enter. It is also thought to be the gates of heaven and hell, but no one really knows. Many souls of the departed seem to come here were they are judged by the demon lord of the gates Epitath.

Chapter 3: The Elemental Spawns
Thriss awakens to find him self at a very fogy dock with an old boat with a lantern. He hears a scream in the distance from a lost soul and gets in the boat to find a way out of the creapy place. After riding in the boat for what seamed like eternity he reaches a giant gate where he meets Epitath, a skeletal demon with a giant ax who tells Thriss that he will return him back to the world of the living only if Thriss can beet him in a dual. Meanwhile while Thriss is fighting Epitath, Shanole and the others were sent to fight a ferocious demon and losing. Back at the gates Thriss is also losing his fight do to the loss of all his magical powers. When all hope seems lost he mysteriously gains them back and rains victorious against the demon lord of the gates and is sent back to the world of the living just in time to destroy the demon that was just about to kill his friends.
Reunited again, Evetry tells Thriss about every thing he missed while he was dead. It seems that the war with the empire had caused the elemental guardians to create five evil creatures that were destroying the evil shadows of the guardians that were destroying the world. SS had named these creatures elemental spawn. After learning the current events members of SS are sent out to deal with the elemental spawn.
A. Thriss and Chelsea are sent out to a giant plain to meet the light spawn of which turned out to be a dust dragon that had the ability to disappear and reappear at random. The duo was able to defeat the dragon with reasonable ease.
B. Shanole, Dray, and another member of SS named Natory who had a sealed soul and the ability control seven creatures made of mist, went to the Mist Canopy Forest to search for the nature spawn. They end up fighting a whole lot of spiders just before encountering the giant tree like spider nature spawn. Although the spawn and its spiders were powerful, Shanole and the others were able to over come and destroy the menus.
C. After there battles with two of the spawn Thriss, Chelsea, and Dray go to the Rough were they meet up with Zack to go fight the water spawn who was attacking the city. The water spawn turned out to be a humongous octopus like thing that can control water. The monster was strong but the guild members were able to stop its destruction.
D. Thriss, Chelsea, and Dray go to the ruins in the mountains were they meet Genmaru once again, who is already fighting the fire spawn that turns out to be a phoenix chick. All though just a chick, the fire spawn boasted blinding speed and destructive power. The chick kept on summoning a fire drake to fight for it. With much relief Thriss and the others finally beat the spawn into the ground where Genmaru took out all of his anger out on to it until there was nothing left. Thriss and the others decided to let Genmaru go free just this once for helping them and for the fact that they were all pretty tired from fighting the fire spawn.
E. After a quick break Thriss, Chelsea, Dray, and Shanole go after the final and most powerful spawn that roams in the swamps. They eventually find the dark spawn of which was a giant eye on top of a giant pillar with giant snakes made of darkness at its base. (Think I am using giant too much?) Though the dark spawn was very powerful, it couldn’t match the power of the angelic guild. After the battle Shanole receives some shocking news from SS!
It turns out when Shanole was busy helping to destroy the dark spawn that Nick and the empire went to Shanoles house where they fought Auron and Amanda who put up a good fight but were defeated by the empire and were imprisoned at the imperial palace. Shanole then decides to go to the pales and meet with Kaz, and he rushes off to the empire. After Shanole’s departure to the empire, SS prepares for battle for the empire has declared war against the guild. Thriss is then put in charge of his party and sent threw the battle field to help Shanole and arrest Emperor Kaz.
Once Shanole reaches the Imperial palace he finds Emperor Kaz who then reveals his evil plot to take over the world using the staff of the guardians and the mana left over from the elemental spawns that the empire had been secretly collecting the whole time SS was fighting the Elemental spawn. He then orders his guards to kill Shanole.
While Shanole was fighting for his life and the freedom of his siblings Thriss’s party runs into Nick who had been waiting for them the whole time out side of the Palace doors. This time he had equipped himself with armor enchanted with the mana of the spawns which made him super powerful. Trying there best not to waist any time Thriss and the others fight Nick to get into the palace. Even though his armor was all powerful it still wasn’t enough to stop Drays attacks. As Nick lay upon the ground, he too cursed the empire for the death of his best friend and the banishment of his older brother. He then wished Thriss and the others good luck as they entered the palace ordering his troops to stand down and release Shanole’s brother and sister.
Shanole had defeated all of Kaz,s guards and then fought the emperor who had to rely on the power of the staff that increased all of his abilities to stop Shanole. When Thriss, Chelsea and Dray arrived Kaz was overwhelmed and turned himself into a nearly invincible demon and killed Shaonle. This threw Thriss and the others into a rage as they fought with all there might but were still not powerful enough to beat him. Just before demon Kaz was about to kill the Thriss and the others Shanole reappeared as a true angel, broke Kaz’s demon shell, and healed the party for one final strike on the emperor, eliminating his spirit from existence and ending the war.
After their victory Shanol’s spirit faded away. Thriss’s party along with Auron and Amanda went back to Sealed Soul where they held the funeral for Shanole, even though his body was never found. Thriss, Chelsea, and Dray all became officers of Sealed Soul as Auron was brought into to the darkness by the Dark Guardian by his sorrow, to become his servant and do his deeds.
